Wokingham Town are delighted to announce that we have partnered with TherapyCise for our pre-season schedule to provide mental and physical performance work.

Chris Hunt, TherapyCise CIO, will deliver a mix of mental and physical work with the primary focus of getting the team in the best mental and physical shape possible. Using a blend of tools, strategies and mental toughness drills, the team is really going to benefit from these sessions.

Hunt, who is a former Royal Marine Commando, is no stranger to the club set-up having worked with the First Team in many pre-seasons to help improve fitness levels.

Matt Eggleston, Joint 1st Team Manager, spoke of his delight to welcome Chris and TherapyCise into the set-up ahead of the 2024/25 season.

He said: “We are really happy to have Chris on board for pre-season, we know how talented he is and the skills that he can bring to our pre-season with TherapyCise are an invaluable asset.”

“After discussions with TherapyCise, we as a management team recognised the need to not only work on physical fitness but also mental fitness in a time when player mental health is of key focus, and we have full faith in Chris to help us in that department.”

Wokingham Town’s pre-season schedule kicks off with a visit from Marlow who will face the Sumas on the 6th July, before games against Langley FC, Thatcham Town and Windsor & Eton.
