We can now confirm the return of Wokingham Town club legend Jack Mullan who has taken up a coaching role within our First Team for the 2025/26 season.
Mullan played for the club over an extended period, which included current manager Matt Eggleston’s previous stint at the helm alongside Dan Bateman.
Having played for other sides such as Virginia Water FC, Ashford United, Chalfont and Uxbridge, Mullan will bring a wealth of experience in non-league football at both Step 5 and above to the team, with the entire club delighted to welcome him back.
Matt Eggleston said on the appointment: “I am delighted to have Jack join the coaching staff at the club, he will bring a great set of skills to our team.”
“Having managed Jack previously he knows the standards that I have and that this club has and knows what is needed to play at this level. He is an absolute professional on and off the pitch which is why we were so keen to get him involved this season.”
Club President Mark Ashwell followed up saying: “Jack is a great guy who has been a part of the Sumas family for a long time, so to see him back involved is amazing news.”
“It is incredible for not only the current players and staff to be able to learn off him, but also for the fans and committee who remember his playing career here fondly.”
From his time at the club and across local non-league football, Jack already knows the majority of the squad and is looking forward to getting to work with them.
Welcome back to the club Jack, we can’t wait to see you back at Lowther Road!
