We are delighted to share the news that Darren Purbrick and Matt Eggleston will be continuing as Joint First Team Managers for the 2024/25 season having taken over the roles at the end of last season.

Darren and Matt have shared their pre-season schedule which sees the Sumas face the likes of Langley FC, Finchampstead and Thatcham Town in a six-game schedule during July.

Talking to club media, Darren shared his delight at continuing his role at the club next season:

“I have been involved at the club for several season’s now and I love it. Everyone who is a part of this club, from the fans to the players and to the committee are all such hard-working and kind people, it’s a pleasure to be staying at this great club.”

Having been involved for years, Matt Eggleston knows the club inside out and is ready to get back to work:

“Darren and I are delighted to be staying in the roles and we can’t wait to get this pre-season underway. We have got plans in place and we know that everyone at the club is aligned with our vision.”

They will continue to be joined by Jamie Shepherd and Oscar Crowley in the dugout.

The Sumas first game of pre-season will see the team face up against Marlow Football Club on the 6th July 2024.
